Why are we not perfect like god?

If God is perfect. And he has always existed. And has always been perfect. Then the story of Adam and Eve does not make sense and is not necessary. God has always been perfect and did not need to become perfect. Therefore there is no reason why we ourselves should not be perfect. It is unnecessary for us to be imperfect. It is unnecessary for us to have the freedom of choice.

The biblical God character is far from perfect. His creation turned out be be so lousy that he had to kill almost everything (the Noah flood story) and he was incapable of maintaining order in his own house (heaven). He is not the best role model.
