Remember that time we were all frantic about COVID-19 ? We thought it was the end of the world.

Shrug….I never bought into the COVID hysteria. I got it way before the vaccines came out. I only got the vaccine because it was the only way I was allowed to see my son before he deployed. Now the spectre of WWIII scares me. I believe the world is at a tipping point. Putin is an insane megalomaniac; China’s Silk Road initiative, military expansion into the South China Sea, purchases of farmland in the US and other countries, and threats against Taiwan are a clear indication of their aspirations for control of the worlds resources; exchanges between Israel and Iran continue to escalate; the influx of unvetted illegal aliens from countries hostile to the US through our southern border pose an internal security threat that thus far our elected officials seem determined to ignore. It’s a volatile mix, with no apparent end in sight.

Nope it’s not the sort of thing I lose sleep over. I was more cautious to protect myself but just took each day as it come.. I can only deal with what I have control over so I’m not wasting my energy on stuff I don’t.
