@Adeptlinguist Actually almost anything fried in duck fat is very tasty.

@losthorizons Confit de canard is preserved duck - slow cooked in its own fat. It sounds disgusting but is one of the most delicious things you will taste.

It is a speciality of south-west France (around Toulouse).
