I’m sorry to admit there are nuances in English I don’t understand

If you speak to me in English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 please be sure to say without any street speech as I don’t know so many of them as yet, and the same with abbreviations. I am very grateful for this consideration.

You can always use Google and look up definitions or if it's something more slang in nature, you can use Urban Dictionary, though warning, you'll learn a lot of slang and ah e some regrets about looking stuff up in Urban Dictionary.

Your command of English is still amazing. Years ago as a graduate student Teaching Assistant, the 3rd best writer out of 60 students was a German national. Europeans' education is phenomenal compared to the current level in the states. Politicians have dumbed down education.
