Patience is something i had to learn at a young age. It's very difficult to control that burst of inner excitement, heat, and emotions.
Reminders to myself:
invest in the future
knowing that the effects of delayed gratification is far more fulfilling and ever lasting than instant gratification
if you're eager to say something - simply place your tongue to the roof of your mouth.. if you forget it by the time you have your chance to speak- it likely wasnt important.
Most importantly, you dont have to finish everything all at once! Just a small amount of improvement each day will compound. The results will be exponential.
Keep working in yourself and sont give up 💪⏳️

Sometimes we have to listen and learn before we speak.

@elafina Love that and so true

Its okay to be frustrated. And I am glad you are sharing about it.
I have found for myself, that connection with others is one of the best ways to rebuild patience and to let go of the fear or anxiety around the life you have to live :)
thank you for letting us in on your struggles Elafina!

@Daretoplay6 you are right. I'm staying a little behind with my connection to others...
Daretoplay6 · 26-30, M
@elafina and that is okay. I do too, I focus so much on giving into my problems, that at times I forgot I even had connections.
But when I take a moment and reach out to those I care about, I find many of them are there and are excited to hear from me
And if for whatever reason that is not the case for you, I too am learning to listen again and can gladly lend an ear

@Daretoplay6 thank you 🤗 it's quite the skill, communication..
And it changes so much depending on the roles and situations, levels of closeness, etc...

Your anchors keep you grounded when what is around you is chaos or unsettling. Even the chaos within. Just keep doing. That’s all we can do.

It's never too late to begin at the beginning. 👍

@TryingtoLava yes my dear do it, the gentle and easy way you know... Just begin where you are. No special places or fancy bells and timers are really necessary
