I write simple poems

When every tomorrow becomes something to rue,
Remaining sane within a world gone mad is often difficult to do,

Every just man must fight for what is real and right,
This often requires embracing the truth and clinging to the light,

Justice only lives within discerning eyes,
Don’t ever believe the lies, for those who tempt are to be despised,

Don’t get caught up within the dreams which make your thoughts your aim,
Seizing the day with action will help you gain,

Refrain from the masses who often cause confusion and delusion,
For only the truth can heal within this world of illusion,

It should never be about the material wealth or the
shiny stuff,
Being good without being just will never be enough,

Take the time to listen and stay awhile,
For an honest heart will comfort more than a phony smile,

Keep fighting relentlessly through the obstacles and the strife,
Hold your virtue intact amongst all you experience in this mortal life,

It’s honesty and courage which makes one whole,
Don’t let the system steal your soul,

Go the distance and never settle for less,
For life is about living and not just existing within this filthy mess,
It’s about striving to become truly blessed….
