USA: we want nothing more than peace. USA also : vetoes widely supported UN resolution to recognize Palestinian statehood a few days ago🤦‍♀️

Twelve Security Council members voted in favor of granting the Palestinians full UN member status, while just the UK and Switzerland abstained and USA vetoed it.

Ironically this is not the first time the USA vetoes Palestinian statehood it did it over and over in the decades . Let alone the mountain of UN resolutions against Israel it has vetoed.

Considering the USA’s success in turning Iraq and Afghanistan into Democratic Utopias, perhaps they have the right idea. Yes, that is sarcasm.

While ur comment is funny it is unfortunately not relevant.

Palestine is literally not an existing country so I don’t see how your comment is relevant to this post.
I don’t view Israel to be a democracy.
Half of the population living on that land do not vote for the state.

Israel being the state in this reality.

It refuses to let the internationally recognized as “occupied “ people vote for the state
But at the same time refuses to let them have a functional independent state .
They’r the defranchized people in Israel
Cuz let’s admit it there is no Palestine .

Palestinians having a state means it has to pull back the illegal violent Israeli settlements it also means no more of the zionist expansion dream.
On the other hand ,
Giving everyone on the land the right to vote and making it one state , it ends up being a Jewish supremacy state.

It’s truly a delimma.

The irony is people think democratic nations are allowed to go around and commit human right violations especially stripping the right of a human being to return to the place they were ethnically cleansed from in violations of the Geneva convention.

@Moon3624 My apologies - perhaps that was misunderstood.

I am in agreement with you here. It is illogical and simply stupid to look at Oct 7th outside of the broader conflict going back 80+ years. Much of that 80 years of conflict has to do with the Palestinian people not having their own country. And it is clear, very clear, that Israel's policy for 80+ years has been to not recognize Palestinians as a group of people that actually exists and has a right to determine their own futures. Israel has always treated Palestinians as a "nuisance", and basically has wanted them to live up to some kind of impossible standard or accept ridiculously one-sided terms before recognizing them as a "state".

Israel, and the United States, somehow feels that giving statehood to Palestinians would be some kind of "reward" for terrorism. Well, gee, that has been the attitude for 80 years, and look where that has got them? Human nature says when you oppress people (as Israel has done to Palestinians for 80 years), they become resentful and fight back by any means possible. This is not to excuse terrorism against civilians - just a fact that has been proven time and time again in history.

How do they think Palestinians will act, after you take them off their land, massacre their villages, don't allow them citizenship or rights, impose military rule over them, etc. Of course many of them will side with Hamas - "the enemy of your enemy is your friend".

The UN, which once passed a resolution condemning Zionism as a form of racism, has no authority or power to impose or enforce peace where it is not wanted by the conflicting sides.

@Moon3624 It’s nothing like Nazism. Nazis built dozens of labor and death camps and sadistically and systematically killed millions of people.

And Israel and the Palestinians are conflicting sides. That’s, you know, what a conflict means.

Israel is hardly innocent in all this, but that you graduated from any school with so little knowledge of history is totally amazing.

Problem is, the Palestinians want their state to be ISRAEL, and just push those JEWS into the Mediterranean.

@Reason10
Hello.
Reasoning is a good thing
And I’m glad your name is reason.

It’s not about Jews specifically
It’s about foreigners who came from abroad who happened to be Jewish.

Technically it was Palestine until foreigners came and ethnically cleansed masses of locals and settled in it.
The same locals it refuses to give the right of return in violation of the Geneva convention and continues to ethnically cleanse them.

and ironically you are wrong
it’s Israel who wants the whole land and a bigger Israel I can give u literal quotes of Israeli representatives.

While Palestinian authority
And even the countries in the region like Saudi Egypt Qatar etc all asking for two state solution.

Can you please read this post? I would like your opinion on it

@Reason10 what happened to all lands for all people and equal rights?

@Roundandroundwego
what happened to all lands for all people and equal rights?
I don't know what country you're from, so I'm just going to lay out the facts. (If you aren't American, your country could have different laws concerning your question.)

1. Real Estate is a concept that includes land, the air space above it, the ground below it, whatever plants are thriving on it, whatever buildings have been erected on it, and the mineral rights to whatever is underground. In ECONOMICS 101 terminology, that is a finite resource that has a dollar value. At least in the state of Florida (I emphasis this place because I used to be licensed to sell real estate and know the laws and concepts) real estate is bought and sold. If is not free for all people. One of the rights of the real estate owner is the right to quiet enjoyment of the property. (And that term is IN the Florida statutes.) Because land and buildings last longer than the humans who own them, ownership has to be put in a will for the owner's kids. In a normal society, there is no such thing as "all lands for all people." If you think otherwise, just try climbing over the high wall of Nazi Pelosi's multi million dollar state and see how long you last before you are either arrested or SHOT.

2. The closest the world has come to "equal rights" is the United States Bill Of Rights (the first ten amendments to the Constitution.) These don't actually create any "rights." They merely place limitations on the government's ability to take these rights away from you.

You might need an adult to read this, simplify it and 'splain it to you.
Nobody can do a thing about the NATO. We're toast because people in murka wanted jobs, not democracy.

@Badjujubee @Human1000
The Iranians are still Persians
linguistically genetically and historically
The idea that people from Saudi want to Iran and massacred the entire population and lived in their place never happened.
(Altho the mongol invasion did wipe out 90% of Iran’s population. Lol lol )
Anyways
Let’s go ethnic cleanse every Christian out of Europe cuz I’m pretty sure Europe was pagan before Christianity and every Christian in Europe has to be from Middle East.

And you both still did not respond to the challenge given to u
Which is to debunk this :

@Human1000

I’m a Saudi who was born and raised in Saudi Arabia
I learned English from school and by talking to people in English on social media since I was young so I don’t know what you mean 😂
I graduated from high school with honors and I was given scholarship from the Saudi government again from the Saudi government
to go study geology abroad (UK) in 2022.
currently am texting u from Saudi as it is Easter break
but I frequently switch from Saudi and the uk until I finish my studies in 2026 and then when I finally finish my studies .

No one gets stoned for such reason in Saudi Arabia and stoning itself happened a long time ago no one even knows the last time it occured .

Ironically ,
I can find stoning as a punishment all across the Hebrew Bible the same Bible nitinyahu quoted the amalek genocidal verse from.

The bigger irony, the UN and human right organizations condemn Israel far more than they condemn Saudi by actual number of condemnations and reports .

Regardless, we are the native peoples
Our laws will change always but we are not ethnically cleansing other people and taking away their right of return which is what Israel does.

i mean let us assume that stoning as a form of punishment for both genders still takes place as a form of applied reality in Saudi (altho it doesn’t )
Does that give u a right as a foreigner to come ethnically cleanse the Saudi -civilians - in masses and drive them away from their ancestral home deny them the right of return and go live in their place and then put me in a continuous cycle of apartheid ,death , siege , occupation and more ethnic cleansing ?

Also I’m not a Hashemite
Im from bani tamim
If you are talking about “tribes “ and shit like that 😂
Ironically dna tests always tell me I’m more genetically closer to a Yemenite Jew who automatically gets a right to live in a home he stole from a Palestinian who is denied the right to return than I am to an actual Palestinian.

Per genetic studied and historically speaking the Palestinians are the natives of that land that embraced the religion of Islam (some didn’t)
They are not hijazi Arabs who came from Arabia 1400+ years ago murdered everybody and settled in their place that never happened.

You know that and this is why ur jumping from a topic to another and want to talk about Saudi instead .
And if ur genuine we could discuss both Israel and Saudi human right violations
But what ur trying to say “shut up both should be able to do it “

If ur so educated why don’t u respond to this post:

I know you will not be able to respond to that post
