Sacred Media

Don’t know what brought this back to the front of my mind, but I recall from one or more of my religious studies or maybe sociology classes in college learning that instead of or in addition to sacred texts some religions or new religious movements had sacred videos. At the time I started to wonder, what if there was a new religious movement that had a sacred video [i]game[/i]? And tonight it occurred to me, maybe in the future there will be a new religious movement with a sacred social media platform…
