What’s your car’s name?

The last car I named was my ‘94 Dodge Stealth…she was Athena, my twin turbo warrior. After her I had three Priuses that I couldn’t name…they just didn’t seem to have a soul and weren’t anything more than machines to me.

But meet Roxy 😋
I call her Susie. But its never felt quite right.

@nonsensiclesnail Ooo…the Audi Q5 is nice! And I could see Susie Q as a fitting full name. Without the Q it falls flat to me, lol.

And thank you! Roxy isn’t the car I wanted at first, but I love that I have her now 🙂
@Zaphod42 susie wasn't the car we wanted either, but there had been an accident and the car we wanted was forever on order. If we had driven from Seattle to Austin we could have gotten one, but it was December and it was just a bad time.... but the VW sales lady was all " well, we have one Q5 on our Audi lot...if you would rather...." and so we did and have never regretted it. I love driving that thing, especially up hills. She wants to climb!

@nonsensiclesnail Similar story…it wasn’t an accident, but it was a 12 year old Prius I inherited after dad passed. Mechanically solid, but dad wasn’t exactly careful about how close he got to things. I wanted a new Prius, but all 2024s are being held until they fix a recall issue, which seems to be estimated for August. So the sales guy showed me the Venza, and in spite of not wanting a white car or an SUV, it still felt right.

@bijouxbroussard It’s cute!!! I love older cars…I’d love to have a Datsun 280Z
I don't have a name for my car, but I call my old work van Squeaky.

I'm sure you can guess why.
